The Roar of Silence: A Vow at the Kashi Ghats

At the cremation ghats of Kashi, an ascetic bear, who had taken a vow of absolute silence to pursue ultimate truth, is questioned by Shiva. When Shiva challenges the boundaries of the vow, the bear finds that the truth is beyond articulation. Recognizing this surrender of intellectual ego, Shiva grants the bear the boon of Mahasamadhi, teaching that the highest knowledge demands letting go of the will to communicate.
